He has skills, certainly. But I can't watch videos that are more than one hour right now.

Sadly, the channel -does- go down kinda often Unfortunately there's nothing I can do about that. I guess the only thing I could do is register professionally with livestream for THREE HUNDRED AND FIFTY DOLLARS A MONTH. That's.. just a -little- out of my price range, I'm afraid.

Good question. Why didn't I think of that? Also, did anyone else think the sound is a bit too soft? I'm not a native English speaker so I can't make sense out of it. So I will have to screw with the settings Microsoft forced onto my computer And I'm not really good at that

BTW: bane, what should I remember according to your signature?

Ask the guy I stole it from - I just take it as an attempt to bridge back to the beginning of the loop. That makes it missing a to (always remember [to]) but there is always something, isn't there?

Wow! You folks keep on pleasantly surprising me. Which is awesome.

Yes, this is -The- Dougem and I was alerted to this thread by my editor this evening Happy to see some of you guys noticed!

The livestream is my side project if you will, something I broadcast, and in long windows (on purpose) since it's meant to be an open sided thing - people can step in, step out as they like, ask me questions, or just watch while I chug away at that campaign. It's meant to be a Q&A session sort of thing. The archiving is a side bonus in my eyes.

However.. looking at what little statistics that Livestream lets me see, the bulk of my views are occurring when I'm -not- live! So I'm likely to continue broadcasting in formidable time blocks - but I will split it up into neater ~30 to ~40 minute chunks. Likely a good idea since I will need breaks to rest my voice, walk around, and all that nonsense. I'll also get the archives organized and coherently summarized on my blog page before -too- long <_<

And remember, I have far more... 'viewable' clips in shorter chunks on my youtube page, which should be linked in my siggie below! If not, peek at http://www.youtube.com/TheDougem and fuss at me there about how my livestream channel stuff is too long.

I love feedback guys, and I live off it. I'll keep a distant eye on this thread and others.

    Thanks for your viewership

For those who don't know, he is referring to the Tactical Debacle of the Week series I do with my flat mates which involves Supreme Commander multiplayer matches

That is on hold until Wednesday - we'll likely record our audio for that on Thursday, once Slaguth finishes cutting the footage and as we respectively wrap up our finals.

And if you're interested in my doings, poke at the blog (http://dougemtotalwar.wordpress.com), the latest news is usually there. One of these days I'll get a tiwtter feed going.

Hm. Maybe consider posting in Circus Maximus as well in regards to Supreme Commander videos if your aim is to draw more audience. Especially if theDougem is dealing with even more titles then SC and SS6.x.

It's something I may consider doing myself soon if someone doesn't beat me to it - once I get a bit more comfortable with these forums <_< I'm still an utter newb here, though I've been a Total War junkie for a long while.

I do deal with other titles - Supreme Commander, Sup Com 2 (soon), Call of Duty 4, and a small bit of Command and Conquer Gold with plans to poke at the other things I enjoy I'm a total amateur still, but my main focus will be the Holy Roman Empire Saga again once I finish making -darn- sure that the campaign won't stumble into crippling bugs, amongst other things. Finals finished recently! So I just got some of my soul back to push into all this.
