How do you see the entire campaign minimap without trading map info?
How do you see the entire campaign minimap without trading map info?
The only way is to reveal the entire map by opening the cheat console (~ on my keyboard) then typing toggle_fow to reveal the map and mini-map. Typing it again returns them to normal.
So it reveals the game map too?

you'll ab able to see everything; try it. I mean EVERYTHING
I never used it at all until lately just to watch the blobs form. I was really surprised to see Mongols lose over 80% of the regions they conquered to rebels. I also like aiding some factions on the verge of being wiped out and it is easier to see how well a faction is doing with fow off. For instance I gave Byz Constantinople, Athens, and Mythos when Hungary and Turks were killing them and then like to watch with fow off as they rebound and starting killing Hungary.
I sometimes use it to make up forflaws - no wait, wrong word, should be:bugs in the engine. (Princesses spring to mind)

Princesshunting is a really annoying aspect if done legitimatly. Wandering around Gibraltar might be nice for the Danish princess but I feel for the poor diplomat I send chasing after her only to arrive after she unsuccesfully proposed to the whole Iberian Peninsula...Princesses spring to mind
Yes, hunting a princess can take decades. Even when you get the message that one is "come of age" and rush over to meet her.

Fezzik: I just want you to feel you're doing well. I hate for people to die embarrassed.
Luckily there is the console![]()
