    Default MIT Nanobatteries

    I found this article pretty interesting and thought I would share;

    MIT researchers discover new energy source

    Basically, using nanotechnology they have come up with power sources that seems to be completely eco friendly and could lead to use of batteries far smaller and lighter than anything yet imagined.

    Nano batteries are theoretically only limited by the number of atoms you can fit in a given area. Old news but still neat.

    I'm always behind on these things.

    I just think of remifications with electric car batteries, professional camera batteries, and light weight electronics if they can get a substantial output on such things.

    Great Big YYYYYYYYYYYYYYYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!

    MIT release a new battery technology every month, it is all complete arse because nothing ever comes of it. I've been reading about new battery technology for years, air batteries, carbon batteries, super lithium mega batteries and not a single one has ever made it to market.

    Me thinks these press releases help secure research funding.
