    Default Instruction Manual

Will there be an instruction manual on how to play RSII? The manual for Rome Total War was pretty bad. Would there be information on how to use spies, family members etc. Most importantly, on how to setup a stable economy and how to keep your citizens happy?

You mean like the one in FOE?
I genuinely doubt it, cos the RS team are focusing entirely on releasing it asap, and probably wont have time to write one. But I bet the RS team will be falling head over heel for you if you write one after release.

Fight, kill, conquer, and build trade...............what more needs to be said, more land, more money more power, lol................that's my strategy.

Not in RS 2. More land = less money.
    More soliders = less money.
    More soliders = more power.
    More trade = more money.

So you need to focus on trade to expand more or less.

Apple, with all due respect, kill, conquer and build infrastructure. The conquered lands will come around, lol. More soldiers for sure = more power, but also costs a lot. Need to balance it out, and I like that a lot. No more having the Macs throw stacks upon stacks at me getting slaughtered. Oh, did I mention I parked at a bridge near Patavium to massacre them, lol. That was for them being stupid, lol. I really do hope for balance. But I still want to kill and conquer.

Question - will exterminating cause more problems than before or is that hard coded to make them happy with less population.

    I think that's hardcoded.

And why not expanding is so profitable in RS 2 is that you earn quite the much more from your home regions than from your other regions.
That means that you will be bankrupt if you expand to fast and thus I said
So you need to focus on trade to expand more or less.

What is the best way to establish trade? How do you establish an economy that can support very large armies that are needed to conquer all of western Europe?

You build a vast trade industry using Oil from Romania, Zinc, Nickel, Tin and Copper from the USSR, Coal from Austria, Czechoslovakia and Germany and finally Iron Ore from Sweden, Finland and Norway. Then you Blitzkrieg Western Europe with your newly formed Panzer divisions.

Best way to get the trade going is to have two Diplomats from the start, send one east the other west and get him to establish trade rights with each faction he comes across. From there your money will start growing and as you improve your ports, roads, markets and so on the trade will grow. Pay attention to your map terrain some regions will have valuable resources displayed on them, its not all that important but it shows what valuable resource that particular region/town has and its a good idea to improve the trade buildings in those towns first. Hope this helps.
