Yep, a pioneering mod job on NTW's battlefield-frame.
#Anthropocene #not just Global Warming but Global Disaster, NASA #Deforestation #Plastic Emission #The Blob #Uninhabitable Earth #Savest Place On Earth #AMOC #ICAN #MIT study "Falsehoods Win" #Engineers of Chaos
#"there can be no doubt about it: the enemy stands on the Right!" 1922, by Joseph Wirth.
Rightwingers, like in the past the epitome of incompetence, except for evilness where they own the mastership.
Iirc., already 2013 i spoke of "Renaissance of Fascism", it was accurate.
#"Humanity is in ‘final exam’ as to whether or not it qualifies for continuance in universe." Buckminster Fuller
Any chance for this exam? Very low, the established Anthropocentrism destroys the basis of existence.
#My Modding #The Witcher 3: Lore Friendly Tweaks (LFT)
#End, A diary of the Third World War (A.-A. Guha, 1983) - now, it started on 24th February 2022.
Finally a descent deployment area! +rep
yes that's a really useful mod. Can you do the same for ETW if you play that. I've gone back to darthmod mostly and this is the one thing in NTW I miss.
Jihada, will try and have an Empires version up in the next few days.
Thanks, I'm sure that will be popular for us ETW fans.
impressive. allows more than adequate room for maneuvers

Thank you at first.
But the map of the Ntw may not be suitable for this mod since the map is small(comparing with the cannon firing distance)
that the attackers have less initiative and cant choose where the battlefield is .Because we all cant preview the tactical map in the strategical map before entering the battle
(even the was no army and we have spy standing there)
If yes(may be some mod??I hope) This will be a significant mod
How does the AI handle the extra large defensive deployment zone? Are they confused, do they deploy too spread out or in the same formations as usual against the front edge of their zone?
Still playing Napoleon:TW
nope, they deploy properly. sometimes they keep reserves slightly off, but most of the time its worth it - bigger map allows more maneuvering, no longer you can just deploy and sit there waiting for enemy...
Baron:
I really love the concept of this, and thanks for the great job, but would it be possible for you to make a "lite" version as well?
What I mean by that is, keep these changes of yours, but bring the opposing armies starting positions a little closer together?
Sometimes marching an army from one end of the battle zone to the other gets very tedious, and it also seems somewhat unfair that the attacker arrives tired from marching while the defense just sat there.
I realize this is a natural advantage of the defender, but I feel like the defensive side in game already has such an advantage as it is, that it doesn't need anymore help?
Agreed, it takes about 3 minutes for the enemy to march to the other side (on fast forward)
Version with closer starting distances is up now.

Thanks for the update!
Very useful mod mate. It's a new and better game for me. Many thanks!
Btw, any idea if there is a mod like like this one for ETW?
Keep the good work!
agranel, yep was working on the ETW version. Just uploaded it. http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showt...37#post6967437
Haven't had much time to test, but seems to be working OK.
Can you make the battles larger?
If you mean the map size, I've been looking into that. I'm somewhat doubtful it can be done, but will certainly have a go at it.
what was changed in 0.2?
Added changes to a battle type that I can't confirm is used... It appears to be a variant of standard field battles, but couldn't find an instance where it was used in my campaigns so far. Went ahead and added it in while I was getting the ETW set together, to have a common point on my end between both sets, and just in case that type is used.
Wouldn't worry about it, can just incorporate it whenever your next intended release is if wanted, or just wait until there is a more meaningful version change.
Changed first post to reflect this. Thought I already had, apparently not.
