    Default A question about modding...

Troop sizes/recruitment rates. Say I want to be able to make massive armies in small amount of time, what can I do? I'm pretty sure some mods change the rates or sizes, so how can I? Move this if it's in the wrong place.
I thought about writing something clever, but then I remembered I'm not clever enough.

    party_get_ideal_size -1

Now, the next few lines should look like the following in the original scripts.txt file:

Notice the numbers in bold. These are the values that matter in the calculation of your party size.

30 -> It is the base party size. You can change it to whatever minimum party size you want for the players. This is how some mods have ridiculous party size limit in the beginning.

5 -> This value refers to the increase in party size per leadership point.

25 -> This is the amount of renown required to gain one extra party size unit.

100 -> This is the base party size for all the kings in your game.

Once you've edited the values, save the text file.
Hope this helps. Might not work with some mods, but it will work with native.
Make sure you back up scripts.txt first.

    Late reply from me...
I don't want bigger party sizes, I want to recruit more at one time.

That can be done with TweakMB, a very simple, little program with various tweaks (works for both M&B and Warband).

Yes, I found that utility literally 5 minutes before you posted that. Rep for effort though.

Maybe you should add this to your concise guide Adorno
