Default The battle of Brandywine Creek in Empire 1.5

So has anyone gone back to play the battle scenario that CA offered us in the Empire demo way back when? I replayed this battle just this morning and noticed quite a few changes in units and tactics by the AI. Obviously CA has developed more units since the demo and changed the unit lineup for the battle, but the AI seems to be more perceptive and aggressive as well. I know there was a big debate when the demo came out about how this scenario battle was heavily scripted to make the AI look really smart. I wonder if the same goes for this scenario now in the full ETW game? 1.5 seems to have made the AI a lot smarter, at least in this particular battle. At the river crossing to the right the AI actually came across that river in force and engaged my three units of Hessian Line Infantry I had stationed there as guards. I noticed also their cannons using canister shot, something i've never witnessed before. So has anyone gone back and played out this scenario again? Have you noticed any changes between the demo release and now in 1.5?
"Muscovy", as its rulers have previously called it, is a sleeping giant, with age-old traditions and ways of doing things. Here, the feudal way of life has become so entrenched that the serfs are as tied to the land as cattle, and with almost as few rights. It is a vast, deeply conservative and religious country: Mother Russia and the Orthodox Church are the two pillars of national belief. The Tsar may be the father of his people, but by tradition and practice he is a stern parent. Ivan the Terrible was well named, and he has not been the only ruler with an iron will. Russia is the "Third Rome". The last bastion of Orthodox Christianity.

That just means it got stupider. I'm pretty sure that at that battle the US was supposed to be defending, not attacking. That was the part of the scenario. The fact the AI abandoned their line of defense (if there was any) to come and attack you across their river which had they waited for you to cross they could have massacred you, but instead they came for you.

So I guess the AI got stupider. Oh wait, it's always been stupid.

Actually the point of the battle was to distract the greater part of the Colonial Regulars, while a detachment of British troops made a sneak attack around the flank, even on the demo the Colonial AI often went on offense in the main part of the battle when it was clear you were not going to advance, back when the AI I personally thought was still better. lol
