Okay, well, should we assume that the First Temple actually existed, then it stood for around 422 years, when it was presumably destroyed by the Babylonians. The Second Temple stood for around 585 years. That gives us a total time period of 1,007 years.

The Dome of the Rock, the first permanent Islamic shrine in Jerusalem (perhaps on the same site as the old Temple, perhaps not), has stood since 691, or for 1,319 years.

So in addition to relying on a completely childish metric to determine the validity of something so sensitive and complex, you also can't do your math right.

Well it was destroyed by Romans not muslims, and now is a important muslim place, if the habitants agree with it (yeah right) then yes, if not then no.

The Muslims will never agree to tearing down the mosque that stands there. It's just as much an Islamic holy place as it is Jewish, so no, I don't believe they have the right to build a new temple.


Besides that, the mosque that stands there is very old. It would be an incredible loss to posterity if it were to be torn down.

They have the right to do it if they wish to do so. I don't see anyone here going to stop them. Now the palestinians and muslims probably would make an uprising just as they always do. And it might escalate into a full war again instead of the usual skirmishes.
