    Default RS with Alex.exe

    hi, just a quick question, it says in the download section that i can just delete bi and the shortcut will start RS automatically, does same apply to alex? can i just delete both folders?

    I use RS with Alex and i still have my normal alex short cut, but if i remember correctly when i installed RS it automatically created a short cut for alex.

    yes i understand that, i am actually asking about alex and bi folders inside the rtw folder? because space is unfortunatelly an issue for me

    Sorry for the misinterpretation, if you mean can you have a bi shortcut without the bi i folder and ,like wise alex, i would say no. If you mean do you need bi and alex folders to run rs on alex via the shortcut i would say no again just the alex folder. If you mean none of these then i would say i need to go to sleep sooner than 4:00am

    To run RS (and only RS) you do not need the BI and/or alex folders.

    to deathcab i meant if i want to run it with the alex engine, but without the alex folder

    Alex engine is for better AI and bloom effect. Maybe you could just delete folders from RTW and Alex that you don't need if this doesn't affect the mod of course...

    So I want to buy [using steam] Alex for the better ai but my question would be how to install it. according to this post:

    no there are other things that must be done, although i think when you install rs 1.6 in a a rtw folder with alex installed it automatically does everything for you
