The AntiChrist and the false proftet

The AntiChrist will come talking abount peace and unifactation. He will might be a American president or President of some new superstate in the near future e.g. United sates of Europe or china or india. He will get the Jews and the arabs to sign a treaty to let the jews rebuild the Temple of Jerusalem. Then when the false proftet comes and declare the antichrist God and then the AntiChrist will move into the rebuilt Temple and then begins 8 years of hell on earth and then armagedon and the victory of God.

So do you think the end is coming and if yes what do you believe will happen?

We can never know really, as it says in the Qu'ran, a day in Allah's spectrum is 50,000 human years, so we can never tell. Though some of the signs in the Qu'ran are worryingly similar. One major sign is the sun will rise from the West.

I'm very ignorant in regards to the Qu'ran but could this be symbolic for the rise of a nation in the middle of the Western Hemisphere (i.e., the United States)? Not that I believe that the end is coming any time soon, or at all... but from an analytic literary perspective .

Nah it literally means the sun, besides the US have been a superpower for some time now.

These things aren't really on the increase though. Sure there's a fair few wars going on atm but no more than there usually are and none of them are that massive compared to things like the first or second world war. The closest thing we've had to any major pandemics recently is swine flu and that's not really doing anything. The last big disease was spanish flu after ww1 but that means we've managed most of a century without any major pandemics. As for disasters, they're always cropping up and aren't occurring any more often than usual. So no, I don't think the worlds any closer to ending than it ever is.

they only control half of Jerusalem (the other part is occupied and therefore not a part of their independent state). you can't have israel whole and in it's former glory if they don't even have Jerusalem.

There was no such Former glory of israel it was always divided up between clans and usely at war with its self, thats why it was so easy to conquer. religiously speaking israel was never ment to be repatriated so the modern political state of israel has just about nouthing in common with the ancient kindoms that made up the holy land, i don't even think you could call them israel to do so would be to say they where united. Only one tribe i believe even called jerusalem there capital. Modern isreal will never control control anymore land then it has now....

Indeed. These ideas are in the same sort of category as similar apocalyptic Christianity as Left Behind and all that crazyness.

I do not believe it is right or moral for human beings to guess about this. When God decides the End has been fulfilled in His plan, then the End will come. Why should we puny, pathetic humans try to deign its coming? That is pure arrogance. Ontological and Epistemological certainty are things for God alone, not us. People who "tell the future" and "seers" have been seen as Hell-bound for quite a long time (re: Dante's Inferno; the Fourth Trench of the Eighth Circle of Hell, which was written 700 years ago). Besides, it is my experience that most who try to divine the "End" are just looking for attention, publicity, or donations from desperate megachurchers.

Assuming Dante's Inferno is an accurate description of the punishment of god. Does it count as scripture?
