How do I completely remove SS?

Hi all,

I need to remove Stainless Steel (6.2) completely. How do I do this? I cannot find an uninstaller, and I have tried deleting the SS folder, but the game still shows the SS banners and textures (when I play vanilla M2TW).

Is there a way to completely remove all traces of SS without having to go through a complete reinstall of M2TW?

Edit! I have read the FAQ (as I probably should have done before starting this topic), and found out that it is all but impossible to remove Stainless Steel without reinstalling the whole game.

So I have another question: All I really want is to have all the original faction colours and icons, as SS has changed everything. Is there any way to get these in my game again?

Did you install SS over your M2TW? Then it's time for reinstallation of M2TW.

Check if your MTW2 has a "repair install" option. Might be the fastest way.
