They have an automated search feature which calls up memory that is compatible with your system. I have been using them for years. They are reasonably priced, quick & they pack the items well.

The RAM types you can use depend on your motherboard and processor and in terms of quantity on the windows version (32-bit only supports 3 gb) ddr-3 is better then ddr-2 and how higher the number after that how quicker it can transfer data so how better the RAM is. i would advise to pick something which fits your other components priceclass, for example combining an i-7 with ddr-2 is not a very good idea, or choose high quality if you want to use it for another computer as well
note: only equal RAM is compatible with each other ddr-3 1066 is not compatible with ddr-3 1600 different sizes are compatible with each other however (1gb ddr-2 800 and 2GB of ddr-2 800)

    @ OP:

Ignore this guy, he doesn't have a clue what he's talking about.

Any DDR2 800 RAM kit from Corsair , G.SKILL, or Crucial would be my recommendation, I don't live in Europe so I'm not familiar with what PC shops have the best deals there.
