Unlockable factions?

(This is a rather noobish question but I just got the game...)

In previous TW games once you completed the game with a faction you unlocked more factions which weren't playable in the beginning. Are there something similar in NTW?

Which are the factions that can be unlocked?

P.S : I don't mean factions that are unlocked with a mod or something.

nope you are wrong, just total war 2 had it that way.
and no NTW does not work like TW2.

RTW and M2TW had it like that

RTW was same what diffent, but ya you did unlock more by beating the game.
