Default 2 questions about M2TW kingdoms: Brittinia

    a) Has anyone ever gotten any missions from the baron alliance asking for you to attack an english city and give it to them? Is it beneficial to the player to do so? b) I own cheveron. There are three bridges seperating me from getting attacked by the english. I currently have one stack at each bridge and I'm stuck because the english seem to have endless waves of stacks.

    a) You gain reputation with the baron`s alliance if you do so. Could be useful if you plan to ally with them. You have to decide if the effort is worth it.

    b) Instead of having 3 stacks on the three bridges, keep just one stack. If you can maintain it with fresh soldiers after each battle it should be enough. Use the other two stacks to sack their unprotected cities or just get lots of their regions using a naval attack. Use spies, to plan your attacks.

    Cheers!

I would do that, but there is a problem. They have at least two full stacks waiting at each and everyone of the bridges. I'm barely holding them off with only one city to retrain. My economy is doing fine no worries there. The only reason I'm managing those battles against advanced heavy infantry (i mean mine are crap compared to theirs!) is because they use artillery, which kills their own units....

    a) don't ally to much with the barron's alliance if your at war with england, because when you destroy the english, the barron's alliance becomes england, and your enemy, but i'd still do the mission,it gives you a better reputation with them and maube a reward
b)hold them off and attack them in the back with a naval assault

    I agree with Jiub.

If you wish to gain favor with the Baron Alliance, you should go for it. Might be good if youīre in need for allies. If youīre not in any need for allies, however, donīt do it - The Baron Alliance only hands out that mission if they donīt have any settlements left, so itīs your choice if you want them to return to the "playfield" or not.

And I also agree thatīs itīs better if you use one or two of your defensive armies to make an all-out advance in whichever direction where the english are the weakest, while keeping one for defense of the settlement. Maybe ship them away from that area altogether and attack the english from a copmpletely different direction - if they really have so many armies at your settlement, then they must have drained troops from other regions to assemble them.
