Has any body won the Roman Western empire Campaign on h/h or vh/vh just wondering because i am qite struggaling withit and cold use some help

I have, i found tht u must do everything to stop settlemtns rebelling and if they do, dnt take them back. An other thing is that u must concentrate on defendinh rather than expanding(unless u see an easy opputunity) dnt count on the ERE to help

Or an other strategy is to pull back to regions like North Africa, South-Italy, Spain and Great Britain. Why? Because the lands around France which keeps the empire together will be a big battlefield because of the hording factions. Let those factions kill each other off while you try to stabelise your economy and reconquer lands. In GB for example you can conquer the Celts, because their economy sucks hard so does an upmarch from them to conquer the lands you own in 50 turns. By the time you reach 50 turns you can conquer THEM instead of they conquering you. The Berbers the same, no problem defending against them. The only chalenge is to keep Italy and Spain because Italy will be the centre of the war and Spain will be target of the Vandals, whose will be weaken by other factions if you manage to shape the diplomacy in a way you get a bit of advantage.
