Strongest infantry

Who has the strongest infantry in the campaigns?

France, Austria, GB, Prussia Or Russia?

line infantry/light infantry/cavalry/ ect

GB has the strongest regular infantry
France has the best and most numerous elite infantry
Russia has the best infantry for melee but they suck at shooting.

in campaign its the french because they get ridiculous morale boosts to try and replicate what it was like. a french army of equal quality to another army would win because of napoleon's brilliance.

Yeah all French units in the GC have way better morale than every other faction. French miltia and national guard have better morale than Austrian line units and most others probably.

u cant give France superior AI or everyone elses will be so bad its not funny.

for example i think fusiliers have 15 morale in campaign but 6 in MP

Russia rapes anything in melee except old guards
France rapes anything with old guards
Britain rapes anything in firefight but they are damn expensive.

Historically the french infantery raped anything without the support of La Vieille Garde but I suppose it was a question of "balance"?
The column attack with the fatest speed march, the divisional system, the heavy use of skirmishers were the keys of the effectiveness of the french army and not the Old Guard.

Britain, thats for sure, has the strongest: The red coat supermen. And they are not "damn" expensive, british lines only costs a little bit more than for example hungarian line, which is absolutely inferior (in shoting) to them. British line also rapes every other line in melee. (even the russian one). And yes, british line is expensive (but not "damn"). Strange think is that red coats are as good as the austrian unit from HoNW pack (which is even more expensive and you can only have one - the unit i meant )

Skirmishers (fusiliers) are best trained in prussia, thats for sure . (though britain has a riflemen unit even better then the prussian one is)

Dont know about elite line units, but since you can only have a few of elites, I dont think it really matters which is better. Just one thing - ottomans and Austrians dont have any elite lines...

French Infantry are the best. They are well rounded infantry with the best morale. Morale for me is very important. I want my lines to hold while my canons, light infantry, and cavalry do the real killing. That is all that matters. Your line infantry are your defense.

On top of that you get some of the most bad ass elite infantry around. Old Guard not only inspire your own men but cause fear in the enemy and they have machine gun-like reloading skills.

Prussian Fusiliers are actually Light Inf instead of line, and are real versatile. Are you talking about Silesian Shutezen or Jagers?

I loved those schutzen when I played Prussia, I had one unit of those that racked up a crap load of experience...great lite infantry.

The British line infantry "Foot" has the best melee AND shooting in multiplayer and custom battles. Not sure about in campaign.

I am talking about prussian fusiliers (best 100 range skirmishers). Silesians are very good, but english riflemen are even better . So the best Prussian advantage are the fusiliers which are better then those of any other nation's 100 range skirmishers.

yea dam rifleman a bit op imo

Yeah but they are very weak in defense and they have no chance against cavallery and normaly i would use the musketeers to defent them but they are to weak and really useless. The guards are also really weak and the moral is so low that in the end of the battle my half army is escaped in a point where the units have over the half of their strength. That is really bad. I know Prussian moral was not the best, but their drill and the reloadtime was it, but i see no advantages of this in my battles, they have to reload faster then the brits...
