My Danish troops speaks Swedish

Played a battle yeasterday as Danish against Russia, when i zoom in my danish units i hear that they´re speaking swedish to my surprise Has anyone else noticed this ?

Danish...Swedish, its all the same really

Don't think they did any new voice-acting besides the ones for the Napoleon Campaign, mostly for Napoleon or the story-teller so most voices are Empire based.

The danes were not a major in ETW so they we're not voiced, so instead swedish voices are used.

(I'm a dane myself and deeply concerned that they decided to give us Swedish as our main language! I'd rather have them speak English or Russian for that sake ;D )

its still unfair cuz portugal, italy mughal morroco and persia have there own voice and languages and were not major factions. its like they just forgot the danish

I suppose they voiced the Belgians with that terrible cheesy dutch accent

I think the Danes spoke German in Empire not sure though.

Alot of games are half-arsed and not done properly, that goes for the total war games too.

Thank god that mods can complete the games.

Not really. Copenhagen is filled with homeless Danes (who are native drug addicts, etc not immigrants from Eastern Europe - there aren't many of those in Denmark anyway).

You have to have a voice-actor that is a member of Equity. They cost money. Budgets constrain how much money you can utilise for certain things. Voices for a minor faction amazingly wasn't one of them.

its is more than 1 person who should say danish 2 or 3 persons and its not only 5 world!!! its much much more

then you clicking on the danish general he say "general svenska" it means swedish general! but he is a danish general! please CA make danish vioce

Is it possible to create a mod that changes the voices? Im danish too and it just does not feel right when the danish troops speaks swedish.. It ruins the immersion of the game for me..

Using the pack editor, and Beiss' Xenophonia for Medieval2, you may stand a chance. If not, you're waiting for modding tools.

i dont get why portugal, italy speak there native language they were not playable in ETW too
