Hi all!
One of my biggest qualms about this game so far has been that generals (famous ones) die too easily early on in the game which makes the later part of the game extremely bland.
For example, I just started up a France campaign yesterday and within 20 turns, Kutuzov was killed, Bernadotte was killed, Massena was killed and etc. Even if I play cautiously, the enemy ends up getting their famous generals killed really early on in the game!
So I wanted to ask, is there a way to mod this so everyone is like Napoleon? Or rather, is there a way to prevent generals deaths for all? I just don't want to continue playing a game in which 1810 is a war between unheard of generals.
For those wondering what my other things I don't like so far are: wrong Napoleon's avatar on GC for France, too many replicated scholars (had 2 Hegels for example), no column formation, no way to organize mutual supporting corps on the campaign map, trees not getting knocked down or burning forests, and etc.
Just for the record, I do think NTW has been one of the best TW-s out there...
