I wonder if it will still be a puzzle game, or if theyll make it a somewhat more traditional fps. It seems hard to imagine theyd be able to do the same thing again given the environment will probably be very different this time around.

Unless they figure out a way to make portals possible on non-flat surfaces.

They'll probably spice things up with outside environments but it will still be a puzzle game, it looks like Chell is in a jungle judging by that first poster.

Well the jungle looks more like an overgrown greenhouse, so its probably safe to say it will be largely more of the same in a slightly greener setting. I dont think the way the gun works would lend itself well to more natural looking geometry.

On the other hand they could innovate in other ways.

I'll definitely get this. And I hear it has a coop mode, which should be fun.

Yeah, from what I hear the coop mode is a completely separate more challenging set of puzzles that require both sets of portals to complete. Should be a blast.

Give this thread a bump since some new interesting info has been released.
It is now confirmed that PS3 users will be playing with PC and Mac users.

    Thats rather odd.

Have the PS3 players ever been able to play with PC users before? I know Xbox has done it a good few times, never heard of it be done with PS3.

Think this is the first time.
I guess Gabe was serious when he mentioned that PSN is very similar to Steam.
