Help TW friends, to buy or not to buy

Dear TWcenter members im at a crossroads whether to buy NTW or not to buy, so i leave it up to you guys, after a few hours, if yes has more votes than no or vice versa, i will make my decision on that, thanks

I'd think you would be better served to look through the various posts, read the plusses and minuses of the game, then make up your own mind. Unless, of course, this is just supposed to start another arguement between Fanboys and Haters.

So, I say yes, apparently making me a Fanboy. And I didn't even get a leather jacket with the emblem across the back.

Actually, as much as I hate the Bonzai General and Pickett's Charge AI, its worth $40. If you like the period, playing through the campaigns and single battles should give you at least 20 hours of entertainment.

After that the Suicidal AI may wear on your nerves.

Unfortunately, that's practically unavoidable...

What do you play - campaign, custom battles or the both?

eh. It's like a smaller version of Empire. It's better when it comes to crashes, though 1.5 doesn't crash, has some nice looking units... but less factions to play as. Less tech options but also simplified, but if you treat it like an expansion which it isn't - but you could argue it, because of how alike it is to Empire. It's not bad, reminds me of Kingdoms from M2:TW.

Though I can say, I'm getting bored of it... just so limited. I wish the minor factions were playable, or at the very least the Ottomans and Spanish. I would say wait a few months and get it when its $20, shouldn't take long for the price to drop.

There is a mod wich unlocks all fractions(even Romania Greece, Barcelona...)

wait a couple off months while the price goes down and more important while some good mods come out (hopefully)

the Price is very Good for what the game in realy is , so yes buy it

Buy, it's definitely worth it. They didn't stuff this one up, as they did with Empire.

NTW won't blow your mind, but it's a pretty solid game. I say buy it, or wait a little longer until the price drops and buy it then.

Yes I already got my mate in the US to buy it and he love it!

Id say, wait for CA to relese some Modding tools or wait a few months and hear what peapel think of it then

Think some judgement might be clowded in the begining when buying a new game and you will find out what they realy felt about the game after a few weeks/months.
