A few Questions from a newb

Hi folks!
I recently checked SS + RC&RR out and I got a few questions:
On my pc its pretty slow, so I was wondering, if SS in general is slow or does RR+RC make it even slower. If so I'd consider removing these mods, although their content is quite nice.
2.: Who was the guy who choosed the music? I'd like to do painful stuff to him... No seriously, you can('t) argue about taste, but I found the music quite inappropriate. To modern, is there a music pack? Otherwise I got enough music which is more or less authentic but in any case more than the actual music.
Or the music from the RR+RC pack?

Thank you for this great mod, it got me back to MTW2 (usually I am a loyal EB player...)

SS is slower than vanilla (especially turn endings) and I believe (but I'm not sure) RR/RC is a little bit slower. But again, ask in the RR/RC forum.

I don't know, there's different music in it at least, I think you will prefer the SS ones above the RR/RC ones.

I fear you'll have to test it for yourself. From what I remember the second stainless steel installer is mostly unitspecific (graphics etc) so I'd put my money on the first - but before you go to any trouble this might interest you:

Stainless Steel has a lot of scripts firing in the campaign and RR/RC should only increase the number of scripts with added content like BGR. There is not much that can be done regrettably - if you're interested in more info about that search this forum. There are quite a few topics that deal with this issue around already so you might find something useful there.
