    Icon5 Basic Questions

Alright, so I get a new computer and install RTW and RTRPE and seem to have forgotten how everything works.

So RTRPE is running fine, but how do I get the opening video with the credits bit and that background video (the one with all the fighting from the vanilla version of the game) to turn off? I had it set off with my old computer so all that loaded at the beginning was a map in the background, but for the life of me can't remember how to do it.

Other question is regarding the mod switch bit. I'll admit, I don't actually know how it works, though if I understand correctly, this means I can play more than one version of a mod for RTW without having to create a separate installation of the game; is that correct? Thus, hypothetically, I could play RTRPE one minute and then switch over and play Imperator the next, correct?

Following up on the second question, how does this work? I noticed that the RTRPE target line on the shortcut it created does not have the -mod bit on the end. Is that alright? And how do I got about installing something like, say, Imperator without accidentally overwriting what I already have installed?

Right click the desktop shortcut->Properties and then add -nm after what`s in the Target section. And obviously use this shortcut to start the game with.

If that`s how long it takes you to exit the game and start it again via the Imperator desktop shortcut. What`s important is that all the mods you install in the same game folder are completely modfoldered(install entirely into their own sub-forum and overwrite nothing from the main game folder). And you need to start each of these mods via their desktop shortcuts otherwise(directly from the game`s executable for example or via the play options of the DVD pop-up panel) you`ll launch the vanilla game. Normally modfoldered mod comes with an installer that automatically put their own shortcut on your desktop so you don`t need to do any work in that regard.

    Excellent, florin! Thanks!

Sadly, however, I managed to install the Metro Naval mod, but when I tried to play a campaign it crashed and said there was some sort of incompatibility issue.
