    Default New Project Over Summer

I'm embarking on a new project over summer, never had a AMD computer before so i thought I'd give it a go since I've heard great reviews thus far of it's performance and value.

In terms of PC building i can't say i have great knowledge and info on the matter, and my skills are yet minimal to what goes where and whats compatible, to go so far and say can i find the right prices or places to buy i haven't a clue.

So I'm from the UK so my price ranges are of course going to be bloody expensive and have high VAT added to it. I'm purchasing from a site called Ebuyer prices are reasonable in terms of other sites i have viewed (amazon PC builders).

This is my trolley full at the checkout, not even buying it yet until late April, but what do you guys think where could i make changes to get better value for performance.

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

Don't intend to be overclocking anything, I'm going to use my hard drive I'm using now, and might buy later a faster performance one to put games on.

    So what you think?

That seems like an amazing deal IMO. Nice one.

You have 2 sets of RAM, get rid of the OCZ ones, that will save you £120. Other than that it seems good. But if you're not buying til April this list will be useless because bunch of new technology is coming out soon.
RIP Calvin, you won't be forgotten.

Did you accidently get two sticks of RAM and forget to get the Hard Drive?
Give a man a fire, and he'll be warm for the rest of the day.

All so true, but this was literately a rough outline of the specification, was looking for critical comments or possible advice on the chosen items, maybe persuade to put other items in etc etc.

Yeah i noticed forgot to remove the other ram don't want 2000MHZ not compatible with motherboard, I already have a hard drive spare, it's only 120GB but will do, purpose is purely for games i guess.
