There may be another thread regarding this subject, but have any other ETW players noticed that their Sepoys have forgotten how to fire by rank?

I don't recruit them, i always recruit V.o.c-company, they have better stats

Yea I noticed they don't fire by rank too. Maybe its because they are indian troops in british employ? Because as far as I know the Marathas don't have fire by rank, though I've never played as them so I could be totally, completely and utterly wrong. I use sepoys quite extensively in my army of india, I recruit a few East Company Line and the rest Sepoys more for roleplaying than anything as I view that as a sort of Area Recruitment, its a little house rule I gave myself.

Actually, in vanilla until pactch 1.4, they where ones capable of doing the fire-by-rank, but that was removed at the same time as all other indian (exept Company Infantry) infantry units had this trait removed.

Annoying-considering they had western style training. They could drill and fight as well as redcoats and other european infantry historically, including being able to FBR.
