Campaign replay ?

This is such a great mod , i've had fun with the English to test the water and the Templars campaign has left me stunned to the stage where i'm keeping a couple of save game positions . A Jihad on Jerusalem with 4 Kwarezmian stacks , 2 Moors , 2 Fatamid's & at the same time a crusade to Gaza with a stack from Hungary , Denmark , Norway , Venice , Genoa , Aragon , Castile , Templars & 2 from Poland with about 4 stacks of Fatamids and full garrison to meet us . The bewildering series of multi sided battles , seiges has been amazing.
Have any of you had similar experiences where you've kept a saved game position to go back to ?

I keep a few here and there but never actually play them. I guess I just prefer thinking about the battle in terms of the overall campaign and once I've played them once, the second feels more like a custom battle than anything.

I mostly get that during Crusades or occasionally Jihads. I think I had a few such battles in Spain as well since there are so many factions there.

I'll do it if I'm going to try something adventurous and risky, but if I keep too many I'll forget which one's which....

BTW: You guys know it's possible to save battle replays from campaign battles?

Sorry, I don't get you. Did you mean you know the way to save battle replay like from custom battle? Or you're asking? Sorry if it's dumb question - I'm not native.

If there is a way in SS to get those battle replays working, I'd love to know it.

I normally have about 10 or more saves at the end of a campaign - each at a deciding point.
For example:
Save 1 - Start of Crusades & Migration of HRE
Save 2 - First 3 Settlements taken, resettled
Save 3 - Constantinople taken, Greek region fully taken, home settlements lost
Save 4 - War declared by Venice, two front war breaks out
<...>
That way I can go back and take other routes if I'm not satisfied with the results or the impact is to high in my favor
