As GB im trying to take malta but they have onein the port and so i cant land men they wont come out and fight and blocade does nothing how the hell do i take it???

are you fighting the knights of saint John? I hear there is a VERY small patch where you actually can land men, but mostly people say to have a brig or sloop stay more then half a travel away from their port, they attack and cant get back, and your hidden fleet can then attack.

Land the troops on the island not the port? I didn't have any sort of trick when I did that, I just landed them as I would any place else.

Bring your navy to just outside the port's red zone of control, then take one lowly sloop or brig and move it JUST inside the red zone. The Knightly navy will rush out to attack your little sloop and the rest of your navy will be available as reinforcements.

The reason you can't land is because the red zone of control of the boats is covering the whole island.
If you blockade the port with one boat, their zone of control is reduced to 0. You can then land troops conveniently. It's likely they will attack you because a blockaded port is deadly for the economy so if you stick some boats around for reinforcement, you will defeat them altogether.
