An independent Jewish state!!!
Diplomacy is for pussies, finish them!!
No it's true, diplomacy is still bad. But it has also been for the previous TW-games
i always hated getting those kind of counter offers, its hellloooooo i just obliterated every single army and navy you have and they make such a stupid request...so i just end up destroying them and get the territorial expansion penalty which i think is stupid -__-
I have conquered:
-the Italian peninsula (with islands)
-the Iberian peninsula (Spain and Portugal)
-France
-present day Belgium
-present day Austria (Zwitzerland can't be conquered...)
-Morocco
-Algeria
With this, and as much as possible trade routes + an alliance with the US, I have a netto income of
55-75k/turn
The economy in the beginning was crappy, but when you conquer the Italian peninsula and France, you have a very good economy.
Also, you need to build your vineyards and your farms to the max.
You know it's not that stupid an offer. The Prussians are a ballsy faction, they have little dog short person syndrome. They are the smallest major faction but the toughest and have the biggest attitude problem. You want them to surrender and become a protectorate, they still have rich lands in India no? Obviously they can't resist your massive empire but their arrogant attitude is still there, "You'll have to kill us before we join you!" hehe, destroy them; there will be greater satisfaction.
"Muscovy", as its rulers have previously called it, is a sleeping giant, with age-old traditions and ways of doing things. Here, the feudal way of life has become so entrenched that the serfs are as tied to the land as cattle, and with almost as few rights. It is a vast, deeply conservative and religious country: Mother Russia and the Orthodox Church are the two pillars of national belief. The Tsar may be the father of his people, but by tradition and practice he is a stern parent. Ivan the Terrible was well named, and he has not been the only ruler with an iron will. Russia is the "Third Rome". The last bastion of Orthodox Christianity.
I just recently picked up a Russian campaign after leaving ETW on my shelf for months. After defeating them three times in wars they started taking 2 provinces each war I didn't want to deal with revolts in Istanbul so i decided to try and trade it to them for some technology, no go. Well ok its no big deal I'll just give it to them for free then. They are not sons of goat herders my proposal was rejected utterly. Now I remember why I stopped playing this game (among the many other problems that accompany this game).![]()
I hate when you send a simple trade agreement request and they counteroffer with, "well, I want a military alliance too, 7000 gold, I'll trade you a province you dont want for one you do want. How about it?"
