    Default Question About Liberating

    Say you conquer the territory of Venice, but you choose to peacefully occupy it. Then 20 turns later you decide you want to liberate Venice, is this possible?
    Sorry if this has been answered before but I couldn't find it anywhere.

    No, whatever you chose to do, is then permanent.

    i do not believe this is possible.

    What you can do is gift it to a enemy, and then immediately take it back, and choose liberate

    let them rebel take it again then liberate
    In the garb of old Gaul, with the fire of old Rome,
    From the heath-covered mountains of Scotia we come;
    Our loud-sounding pipe breathes the true martial strain,
    And our hearts still the old Scottish valour retain.
