The list of terrible players.

I recently had a terrible Drop In battle I hosted. After two really GOOD full stack vs full stack battles while invading GB, both with wonderfull players, I ran into a turd two turns later while defending London with my greatly depleted army.

Before deployment, I enlightened my opponent to his position of retaking london. He had a nearly full stack of fresh British troops against my mauled but veteran force. After deployment, I noticed my opponent had placed his 3 pieces of arty on his far left flank ungaurded. I quickly took my 33 Chausers and 6 lancers (When I say depleted, I meant it) and rushed his arty before he could unlimber. In the end, I lost my cav to his reinforcing Dragoons, but he lost his arty. At this point, he quit.

Despite having numerical supremecy, my opponent quit without a word. He could have bum rushed my army and skewered me in melee, but instead chose to quit the field at the momentary upset of his plans.

He should not have quit, but it is OK to suck Bad generals were a dime a dozen in real life.

Yeah, this is pretty much a 'naming and shaming' thread, which were banned in the Empire Multiplayer forum. While I don't doubt your story (I have no trouble at all believing it), but you don't have the other side to defend themselves or provide an explanation. Maybe the guy was having a bad day and losing his artillery just pushed him over the edge; we can't forever brand the guy as a jerk because of just one incident. Feel free to share your stories (we had a sticky for that in the ETW forum ), but don't name people outright.
