I would presume it varies from individual to individual...
I choose Obama. God, he's so studly.![]()
It depends on the preference of the individual.
Technically speaking, most of the people are Bisexual, but to a really small extent. With Bisexuals it just becomes more prominent to both sexes.
I for example, am a Bisxeual.
I have no problem sleeping with either of the two sexes, or dating them. But personally, I am attracted to men a little bit more.

I know several females who are married and open about bisexuality, but the only place you will find men willing to talk about it is behind the anonymity of the internet.
My guess is that the research selection bias (gay neighborhood) skewed the results to a more 'gay/straight' result.
This one I am not sure on either. Kinsey wasn't a very good scientist
Anecdotal maybe I'm a rare 100% straight, but I've never had a homosexual fantasy or dream nor considered the option once.

My shameful truth.
why is obama in his own category?
Individual preferences, some don't even have a preference.
Some day I'll actually write all the reviews I keep promising...
do you have no sense of humourwhy is obama in his own category?
Oh, I made this thread because a bisexual person I know said he prefers girls way more than guys, and another guy I know felt the same way.
I believe it's a continuum of sexuality psychology wise if you want to use the Kinsey scale.
0 Exclusively heterosexual
1 Predominantly heterosexual, only incidentally homosexual
2 Predominantly heterosexual, but more than incidentally homosexual
3 Equally heterosexual and homosexual; bisexual.
4 Predominantly homosexual, but more than incidentally heterosexual
5 Predominantly homosexual, only incidentally heterosexual
6 Exclusively homosexual X Asexual, Non-Sexual
Most everyone lays near a 2 or a 3 preferring the opposite sex but having homosexual fantasies at one point or another, a large proportion have even experimented with the opposite sex. Very few people prefer either sex evenly. Those we consider exclusively homosexual make up about the same ratio of our population as those who are exclusively heterosexual.
Silly thread dammit. Going to depend entirely on the individual... or maybe they have no preference, and can see entirely past gender.
Of course, we are talking about real bisexuals here, not drunken teenage girls who are bisexual for the night.

Wouldn't that be pansexuality?
No, some people think sex = greatest possible emotional connection you can have with someone. Therefore, if you see past gender differences you can develop a bond with either gender that culminates in sex. Misinformed in my opinion but eh.
Thank God I'm a solid 6 on the Kinsey scale.
I've met so-called bisexuals before. It's quite obvious that they're just parti-coloured opportunists who want as much sexual intercourse as possible. They're like the goats, but with sex instead of food. I firmly believe that most bisexuals are, in fact, homosexuals. No real man ever wanted to go into another man's anus/mouth and yet want to go into a woman's vagina/anus/mouth. What nonsense to believe! Bisexuality is a ruse to sound hip, modern, progressive, and forward-looking for either males or females, depending upon whether the "bisexual" is a homosexual or a heterosexual. It's merely a line they use!
