    Default Other factions' family tree?

Is there any way to view another faction's family tree? I'd like to do an AAR in a style that shows a character's father and mother, along with titles and such. Problem is, I had a princess marry a general from another faction, but I don't know if it is possible to see who his parents were.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks.

    Welcome to TWC

It's not possible in a single-player campaign unless you can use the console command (which I've forgotten ) to switch factions. I've never actually tried this however so there's an element of doubt to my hypothesis.

I was afraid that was the case. There is a console command (control <faction_type>), which only works on a hotseat game, I believe. And since there is the CTD when selecting more than a few factions in the opening screen, my choices would be limited as far as which factions to engage in marriages.

Anyway thanks for the reply, and thanks for the great work on the DLV Europa mod. That's the mod I'm playing at the moment.

Correction: Using the control <faction> command in a hotseat game actually allows you to control any faction, regardless of whether or not you selected them in the opening screen. In this case, I'll choose to select the faction before I commit my princess to offering marriage, write down the info I want and give back control to the AI. I will have to start over again, but I only played my prior game to 1210.
