In Empire threads you'll find tutorials with instructions how to make a mod.pack.
I'm new to modding, but it seems rather straightforward. How do I create a "mod.pack" and where do I place it once completed?

    Nevermind. I figured it out.

This is probably a dumb question, but how does one make a .pack file to "Movie" type?

Thanks to Erasmus777,husserlTW and Vicar to all the hard work on the PFM update!

Is it possible to increase the amounts of cannons in a unit with this?

@CozurYes it is. Open the unit_stats_land table. There (column 1 and 3) you have the possibility to change to amount of guns and mens. Make shure, that for every gun, you have got 6 men.

Hi guys did you try to edit artillery guns number from 4 to 8, I try it but not succed
I export units_stats_land file then import it in a new mod pack file, change unit_stats_land_tables/unit_stats_land number of artillery column from 4 to 8, I save it in a new mod put: mod "my_mod_name.pack"; in user.script.txt but I have still only 4 guns in battles for each unit.
    Any hint?

my guess is that your mod is ignored, because game doesnt read script file. Try making your pack a movie type, then it will be loaded regardless of script file...
