command / drop in battle questions

Hey,

What exactly is command to a general? I used to think it was moral but now I see general traits that have bonuses of "gives 1+ command" and others that give "1+ moral". Now I know the general with the most command gets to deploy second but does it do anything else?

And when it comes to drop in battles do the human player retain the AI bonuses on the harder settings? Like if I have very Hard battles on and a human player drops in will his troops get the moral boost?

We're having a similar discussion over at the MP section, right now we're at "we don't know exactly".
I'm pretty sure what I said there is true: the more command rating a general has, the more often he can use his special abilities (rally, inspire).

About whether the boni are applied, I'm also not sure, but I would assume (and hope) so.
