The ATI HD5870 Graphics Card

What FPS are people getting with this card, as i believe its the best card for running NTW on?

With my 5970 and i7 920 @4ghz with 8AA and all other at ultra i get arounf 30-35fps

Is that a steady 30-35 fps, u dont see any drop in that?

Im getting 53-60. 16X AF 8X AA Everything turned up to max.

Except fog/Shadows

And my specs are lower Lmfao

Intel Q6700 3.2Ghz
8GB Memory 1066
ATI 5850

My 8800gt's and humble Q9400@3.2 are beating that @ 1920X1200.

Yes it did, 40 ~ 45 zoomed out, 28 ~ 32 zoomed in, full armies in quick battle...foggy ass grassy flatlands.

its steady... but if i force the settings from catalyst center instead from ingame there is graphical glitches..

my self I got ATI HD4870 X2 and on ultra it about the same 30-35 and its so far stable

Got 5870 30, 35 in 1980 x 1080. Stays the same while recording with fraps.

and yes I envy your card

1920x1200 4xaa and 16af 60-100fps. no shadows and no volumetric effects. all ultra. 4ghz cpu with 5870 @975 core.

nothing to envy mate Everyone can buy one and yours 4870x2 is awesome

Think i'm gonna have to purchase one as my GTX 295 produces fps that are ok (40 to 65 fps) but the settings are not set to ultra and when there is alot going on screen it does drop dramatically, and for a res of 1440x900 with a Core i7 975 at 4ghz its under performing me thinks

I have an ATI HD4870 1GB, but I am getting some awful lag on the campaign map and the battle map...especially when the cannons fire. I am going to try to revert back to the 9.6 drivers to see if that helps, but I am getting pretty frustrated.

What do you guys think of a Nvidea 9400 GT for NTW? Im thinking of getting it.

My RES is 1360x768 16x9 WIDESCREEN.

Huge worthless and power hungry go with a 5870/5850.

My friend has a 5970 i out perform his card by little but im running a 5850 .

Thing is he has dual core, i have quad core my PC can give more process to things making my games and tasks run faster than his.
