Ok I just finished the battle of Waterloo after completing all of Napoleons campaigns. Can anyone inform me what the quote at the end says? (the reason I havent bashed it into a translator is i didn't have a pen and paper handy to write it down ^^

All in all good game. One thing I will take issue with is cannon accuracy (I once stuck a cannon on a hill behind my army about 4 times taller than a mounted soldier and it still managed to somehow bounce a cannon ball off my generals head who was at the foot of the hilll anyone else get that?) and the cannon AI could use a little adjusting (maybe to get them to pivot on an axis between them rather than pivoting each cannon individually so one ends up shooting the other while you're not paying atention). Also I have yet to manage to get anybody to agree to become a protectorate of mine even long standing allies after offering several regions technologies and payments but nothing too troubling that wouldn't put me off playing the game again. XD

They don't... cannons never shoot other cannons in the same unit, only ones in units next to them.
If the angle to the selected target is too steep, some guns won't fire at all if it would take out pieces in the same unit.

Ah, well still a bit of dodgey AI in my opinion.
