Do you mean metalic? So go to gloss and change the green parts to blue. You can use simply white color for uniform, cause you get white, real white. Look at the vanilla units. The white seems to be in photoshop greyish, but in game it's white, because of light. I often must change colors to darker one. Imprtant is a material structure on your diffuse to not looks like plastic.

Or if you mean the shiny look in game, you can find it in "Options". It calls mmmh, HDR (light bloom).

-> gloss: is for visible color parts. That means no alpha colored parts become the faction color. And you can make there glossy parts like metal, which shine matalic in game (buttons, belt parts, helmet). Look at the bag on the ground (near the mini map). I made it glossy and it shines in the sun.

-> normal map: gives structures and and give you the feeling of plastically (optical trick). Look at the uniform in the left corner.

Easy. Copy and paste parts you need with photoshop . If you expert you should not have problem, but if you rooky, so you should learn that.

As beginner use "copy and past". Practise, practise, practise!!! That's all. Look at vanilla and learn from them .
