Am I alone here? I just watched it two times in a row, and it's just damn good! Inspiring even!
Maybe it's just me... I dunno, hence the new thread.

It is really well done. I liked the ETW one better, but this one is really good.
"...I'll look for something else. We're surrounded by water. Why are we eating knob?"
I really liked the ETW one...it had so much more dimension to it...zooming out to the map, then zooming back in to the action.

I hate it. It's the only part of the game that I find to be embarassing. I intentionally cut it if anyone is in the room, not to save time, but rather to avoid the humiliation

Sounds like rabid anti-French sentiment to me.
You hate their army? What is that supposed to mean? IS this another sort of accusation of French cowardice or military incompetence? I live in the U.S., so I hear that a lot.
Wait... you think they had useless resistance in WW1? I can see the sentiment in WW2, but the French shed untold amounts of blood in WW1. It wasn't the British countryside that was ravaged (I assume you are British) but the French who recieved hundreds of thousands of civilian deaths, to think that the French did nothing in WWI is completely asinine. France's countryside probably experienced the worst destruction of any of the allied powers.

I have nothing but the utmost of respect for France and its illustrious military career.refusal to assist an unjust war is a mark of honour not cowardice, and to truly understand and respect Napoleon one must look at what he has done outside the realms of conflict. If one is to truly understand history, especially that which is as sensitive as Military history,we must go forth without previous opinion of pre conceived notions.Buut, that being said I can see why it is that some of our friends across the pond might still be a little sore about the napoleonic wars...
I feel that to call them traitors is a little harsh in this circumstance.as you can see they were right to decide they had no interest in said current war seeing as there are various people behind its inducement now posed with serious questions as to the legality of the conflict and others still that have the ominous whispers of war crime being tossed about at them,so to decide not to involve yourself in a prolonged and dirty Guerilla war that has no decided goal nor desired outcome is far from folly, and i think they had their fill of such things in the Peninsula,Morocco, and Vietnam

Ignorant and bloody cowards? It seems you are the one spouting ignorance. France's military history is just as proud as any other European nation, and you have only to look at the Battle of Verdun to see French soldiers sacrificing their lives.
