A prediction

I have to admit that I haven't wrote that much on these forums but I've played ETW for a couple of months and just got NTW. It does seem more challenging so far but I am missing the colonial empires.

Anyway, I just wanted to say that I would bet a sack of doubloons that the next game would be Caesar: Total War. The campaigns could be Gaul and then the Civil War. Maybe even a little sea battle with the Cilician pirates when he was young? Anyone else think so?

Not to say that I'm bored of Napoleon already, it's just a thought.

Well it'll satisfy people's demands for a RTW2 and it says Napoleon wanted to be the heir of Caesar in France's description. I wouldn't be surprised.

It's a definite possibility considering NTW focused on a great general to showcase a time period...could be a trend.

Rome 2 Total War with Empire's melee engine (I'm mainly just poking fun at Empire here) would be epic.

Seriously though, I can't wait for Rome's revisit. It is gonna happen. And certainly by the way they appeared to like focusing on a specific guy (it worked well in NTW imho) it makes sense.

I support and would like a rome2 but it must have a map that can compete with the mundus magnus map
atleast withe the size of it, that are used in some mods for romeTW1
that map is perfect in size

and not like in NTW GC where we only get europe, if the GC in rome2 if and if they make it.
should atleast have asiaminor ,the N coast of africa and a large part of the euroasian landmass

Well I would race to buy Caesar: TW!

I would rather just have Rome 2, maybe with a few mini-campaigns that involve Caesar.

they will release rome 2 and then cesear total war... except cesear total war will by a much more solid game than rome 2 total war lol

The trouble is Rome2 would be on Steam and we'd never be able to get such amazing mods as in RTW, EB RTR etc.

Rome 2 with Empire 3D engine or better would be my dream!! Afterwards Caesar: Total War would be a perfect add-on.
But they should re-add soldiers celebrating after victory in battle map

What on earth are you on about? Steam does in no way limit modding, CA does. Just take a look at this website. www.moddb.com almost all of the most popular mods are mods of half-life 2 and half-life 2 runs through steam.

shoguate time have much, much more charme than roman era... and that is said by a guy who's born and live in rome

PLS give us shogun 2.... maybe with korea and philippines too (so we whould also have an european faction (spain)

also, if they would include manchuria and china there would be the quing (manchu) who conquest and thake over the ming (chinese) crown...

or if u realy want to keep in touch with the artillery era... give us the late 1900... american wars, italian unifications war, crimea, german unification, china subjugation from england...

I would like Naval Battles of Triremes, Biremes and Quadremes
I dont want no small campaign map of just "Italy" or "Gaul" like it would in mini campaigns of a Ceasar:TW.
