Join drop-in while campaigning: screenshot

Hi guys,
as you may have heard, while playing a drop-in enabled campaign, you get asked if you want to jump into another player's drop-in battle...
because some of you didn't have it happening to them yet, here's a what it looks like.

I didn't actually get to play this one, because before I reacted and remembered my screenshot key, the time was over

The thing is I've only gotten 4 invites into games since I've done this. I wish there was more however now I'm getting more people into my drop in games so at least that has improved. I believe once people beat the game or played it for a month, they will look to drop-ins since they already have the achievements for beating the campaigns.

I guess the problem is not that there's not enough people enabling drop-ins, it's that there are enough other people wanting to drop-in...
would be a bit unfair if it was always you who gets invited first

I've played the campaign (drop-ins enabled) for 8-10 hours maybe and I've never seen an invitation to a drop-in, kind of disappointing, I'm using Central Europe steam region.

Edit: finally got an invite to a drop-in, everything went fine till the middle of the fight when i got disconnected due to steam having a maintenance

could it be, if you have a mod installed, like fire and advance removal as i have you are not able to drop into battles ?

Not sure if this is correct but one of the people on my friends list joined a drop in battle of mine. He said that he recieved that message while playing his campaign. I think it might only go to your friends but I'm not sure.

Yes, that's most likely. Unless the player that want's to drop-in is using the identical mod

I agree but I think there will be more drop ins in the future because many players are still waiting and don't buy the game....
