Hello friends.
I was wondering. I currently use the force diplomacy mod. I try very hard not to abuse it as can be easily done. But rather help the AI to function normally in relation to the human player. I've been using my FD mod for a number of situations. I call ceasefires on nations that go to war with me based on the fact that one of their controlled regions rebels in my favor. I freely share map info with those of my allies and vise-versa. I order allies to attack common enemies when needed, I usually pay an incentive of 1000$. And of course...the thing I feel most dirty about creating protectorates. All the while I use "normal" diplomacy in between all these forced diplomacy actions. I wouldn't consider myself to be abusing the forced diplomacy mod, do you?
So, with that said...2 general questions.
1) When is the best time to force a nation to become a protectorate considering the fact that they will never submit under "normal" diplomacy. After I take their Capitol? After I take from then the regions needed for my victory condition? Or after I leave them with 1 region to themselves? Or do I just never use the AI nations as protectorates?
2) Do you think I'm being abusive with the Forced Diplomacy mod as is? And if so...how is best to use it without "cheating".
All opinions and suggestions are welcome.
Thank you.
