Darn Megaupload, I suggest you use Filefront as well, it has a reliable speed.

There's a new hotfix that should give a solution to most of the main problems reported at the forum. It is not patch 3.1, it does not include new material, as it aims to bring CTDs to an end. Just that.

To install it: Just unrar it to your Rome - Total War folder.

It's not save compatible, so perhaps you should not download it if you are insterested in finishing your campaign

well this is also in regards to your previous post, you cannot have multiple mods in one rome total war folder, so henceforth this error could result by trying to install it to a modded folder, you may try to fix it by making an unmodded folder of rome total war (found in the creative assembly folder), wich would be in other words, a backup file, if you need futher help, reply as needed

I removed all my mods and I even re-installed RTW. I created a 2nd folder to install this. At first it said to install it in the activision folder but I am creative assembly one. So I changed it to C:\Program Files\ The Creative Assembly\Rome-Total War. Then I got this message up saying: Cannot Create the following file:C:\Program Files\ The Creative Assembly\Rome-Total War\Uninstal.$$A and said I will have to run this utility game. Help please?

Install it to your desktop. Then, cut all the files/folders created and paste them into your Rome total war folder.

Just to run through it, first I install it to my desktop, then I copy all the files and folders in the RM3 I install to my desktop and paste them in the RTW folder. Do I need to remove all the info in the RTW file first? A bit more detail if possible thank you.

I but all the files that I installed in the Desktop and put them in the RTW file, all except Data cause I do not know where to put that. Anyway ran it and it start working perfectly! Then I went to load a Imperial Campaign(Medieval Campaign) and it crashed saying: Can not run because of a file , it was for barbarian general west. Help?
