A way to retrieve lost data?
Well, I'm sure some of you have been there. You're external hard drive with all your movies/music/pictures/All that stuff.. needed to be formated.. 
Do any of you know of a way to retrieve the lost data?

There are a variety of programs that will recover lost files or restore inaccessible partitions for windows. The only one i can think off the top of my head is Recuva, since its made by the same people who make CCleaner.

Ive no idea how good it is compared to other free alternatives thougj.

This will recover data from a formatted drive as long as you havent already written over the top of it.
