    Default Unit stacking

Ive been using Sid Meier's Gettys tactic on this game. Stacking skirmishers, and firing at least 3 units same time, great damage to enemy. I tested line infantry, you can only stack up to 2 units, 3 units will FF on front unit. I won battles with skirmisher stacking many times over AI. So, question is, in Gettys Skirmisher stacking is consider a cheat (at least when time I was playing), but do you think it is a cheat for NTW and Online?

more units in same space... i would say its not a cheating... it makes your skirmishers ideal target for artillery...

    ^^ What he said.

For that matter, put 4 light inf in same space. It'll make the kill ratio for my howitzers go through the roof, as the unit density/footprint goes up.

Yes I'd say it's an exploit.

I agree with Jam, its just a tactic, which can be responded to (by human players anyway).

As far as beating the AI with it, there are so many ways to do this already, what's one more?

I wouldn't use it in SP personally.

It's a matter of individual conscience: will you spoil your enjoyment of the game by employing this tactic? Just because it's in the game doesn't mean it was intended to be there or is an improvement.

I'd use it in MP, though. It's 'fair' because all parties can utilise it if they want to. AI's programmed not to.
