Default Question about the RC guide

I don't know how current or how accurate the RC guide included with the mod is compared to the realities of the gameplay as it stands in the current version.

Two things stand out at me from multiple readings of the guide and some experience with the mod:
    1) "Note that it is recommended, when using Early Professionals, to disband them in the settlement from where they were hired if they are not immediately needed."
As far as I can tell, mercenary levels and unit recruitment levels are determined by decimals set in their respective files. I am pretty sure I have seen no mercenary replenishment after I have disbanded them in the region they came from and I assume disbanding your own recruited troops is similar. I also see no mechanism for the game to know where a unit came from.

Is this a working mechanism in the mod? Is it something that was planned and not implemented? Is it just suggestions for roleplaying?

2)Urban militias: "Limited free upkeep in cities, expensive and less morale than regular units when away from them in the field."
The particular part that confuses me here is the "less morale than regular units when away from [cities] in the field." Does this mean that urban militia have better discipline while inside of a settlement?

I know that when you disband mercenaries in the correct areas they do come up as recruitable the next turn. Similarly, when I disband my own troops in cities/castles capable of recruiting them, they're added to the pool. For example, I've got 10 junior militia recruitable in Murgen.

I knew about the increased pool size, but I never knew it also works for mercenaries Which areas would make this work?

Yep it does work, just have to be careful where to disband them.

What I meant is that, when defending their settlements, all units get a morale bonus (AFAIK), which brings the morale of these militia units up to a comparable level to more professional units. Out in the field, their morale is pretty bad, and their cost quite high relative to their effectiveness.

Not sure..but I know that if I recruit viking mercenaries in, say, Sweden, and then subsequently disband them there, the mercenaries will appear in that region again. I do it all the time with welsh longbowmen in england.

The way I think it works is that mercenaries are assigned to particular regions like England or Scotland or Italy (eg. longbowmen and gwent raiders in England). So whenever you recruit mercenaries from Caernarvon, that mercenary will be removed from the list in London as well. Then if you disband them in London or Exeter, they'll be made available all throughout England again.

This way, you can easily just recruit mercenaries for one battle and disband them without worrying about needing them again anywhere in that region.
