Vista or XP?

I just saw that I must write here for technical questions.Sry for the thread in the general discussion
How must I run N;TW for better performance - on Vista or on XP?
My PC:
Intel Core 2 Duo 2.8
4 RAM
Nvidia 9500

Depending on the VRAM on your graphics card, I'd say medium, maybe some on high.

The card has 512mb and sharder model 3.

I'll stick with what I said. With your Nvidia model, you may not be able to use Shader 3 very good.

I have an E8400 with GT8800 @1024VRAM and 4GB Mushkin. I run "everything" on maxx and toggled.
My operating system is Windows Vista, so I think this is what you should go for.

I just saw that the sharder model of my NVidia is 4

it doesn't matter, since your card is not powerful enough, and aside that nvidia has been giving us some problems with shadder 3

If you have an i7 4gh, 6gigs or ram, and a 5770 1gig, you may see Shader 4.

Someone above said go for Vista - don't! If you have a choice, go for Windows 7. It's roughly one million times better than Vista.

windows 3.1! FTW! run in my pc blazing fast! even faster than XP!

Win 3.1? My first Windows system and buggy as they get. I did about everything in DOS, then, anyway.

hey! it was not buggy! people misunderstand the beauty of that blue screen, although if I remember it right they implemented the bsod with 95....

btw I would also vote for 95 or mac os 4, run way faster now!
