Default Broken AI, broken diplomacy... No pressure?

Now that NTW is out and some of Empire's flaws are more exposed than ever why aren't we keeping the pressure on fixes as we were before? Are you guys really satisfied with NTW enough to forget Empire's state?

I'd prefer two working games rather than one.

    @ Gen. Uziel,

No man, we aren't "happy" about ETW!

That's why I b**ched and complained about it being a "broken game that should be boycotted if no fix was forthcoming."

Now, I DO believe Sega/CA will release a BAI patch and I will push for additional fixes (Siege walls for ex.)
    besides the BAI.

Since NTW is out and the melee bug/pathfinding issue has been solved in NTW without disabling any special unit abilities, there is NO reason ETW cannot be fixed. Period.

Make sense man? It cost ALL of us $$$ for ETW, especially the S.F. edition owners like me (hint, hint)

What we see is history repeating itself:
The people who were upset about M2TW but gave CA another chance got fed up with the release of ETW.
The people who were upset about ETW but gave CA another chance gets fed up with the release of NTW.
The people who were upset about NTW but gave CA another chance will get fed up with the release of [next title in line].

This will continue since new players are constantly buying into the pretty pre-launch pictures and cut scenes, only realizing how the game plays after a purchase. It will only stop when CA realize they have to listen to the community and fix what needs to be fixed.
    On release

gotta disagree. i was amzed and disappointed by rtw. disappointed by ai and diplomacy
i was amazed and disapoointed by m2tw disappointed by ai and siege ai in particular and amazed because i love the timeframe and optical advancement
i was disappointed by empire. mainly the usual ai but for the first time because of boring gameplay. i was happy about battlemap changes however gameplay is so boring that i am not at all interested in napoleon. the band is broken

but u r right it feels like the happy customers are more and more arcade fans. is ntw released on the wii? for me a bit arcade and eyecandy was welcome. but the balance it too much off now.

haben sie hans gesehen ernst stavros blofeld? er hat eben noch die fische gefüttert. haha
