Why can't there be an actual expansion for ETW I'm wondering? If they're set on ETW needing repaired with better coding.. why can't they make an expansion that overwrites/replaces stuff?

because they made a bad game that, beside the ai problems (i can actually live with it, seriously) crash every "once in a while" (to me is every hour and half, almost... during turn change or during battle)Originally Posted by HIC SVNT LEONES

Speak for yourself. The game runs fine, without any crashes here. Either it's your system or it are mods if you have installed any

yup, never crashed for me eathier, and i actually have alot of fun as britain (not so much with the continental powers because of the AI raiding obsession)
The reason they dont make an expansion is probaly because they easily made more money with a new game, not to mention most probably would be very discuraged from buying it. By Napoleon being sold as a stand alone it avoided alot of the bad rep that ETW got.

if it crashes for you then either you are very "noob" or our computer suxx or mods is the problem.
To me it have crashed a few times, but it just dosent happen any often.

same reason why ntw never crashed by now to meif it crashes for you then either you are very "noob" or our computer suxx or mods is the problem.
To me it have crashed a few times, but it just dosent happen any often.
and BTW my computer suxx
'cause my pc suck and can't handle it or 'cause of the drivers oe whatever.. but still ntw run fine and etw crashes... so it isn't softwre house fault but mine... lol
and nope, no mods for me... i tried darth mod a bit, i liked it but then i went back to vanilla
ps: i'm not the only one complaining 'bout this, so MAYBE it isn't my problem

Why do you care? its an expansion price for a game thats standalone. That means that you can
A- Buy it for a friend and both play without having to buy 2 games
B- Reinstall faster
C- Need less discs
To me it seems all good.

See, I enjoy ETW. Just wish it could be fleshed out a bit better if they figured out a lot of the problems for NTW.

E:TW is for CA like Vista for Microsoft. Hope the customers forget as fast as possible.
