Impossible to destroy the Greek? Plz help!

Im playing as the Macedon and attacking the last Greek Cities` town at Crete. Battle loads fine, but after Ive won the batte the game crashes after loading, when back to campaign map. The problem lies in the Greek faction leader who is reinforsing the town, i think, because it also crashed when I sank the ship wich carried him and his forse. But I have killed their first king before at Rhodes without any problems.
Please help!

Note: I did set Autosave at FALSE in the txt file as instructed in install

Do a search this is a reinforcement CTD. Kill of the reinforcements before they attempt to raise the seige or auto-resolve.

Ive tried auto resolving, still crashes. I did also try retreating and after defeating the reinforcing army seperate from the city. I won the battle and everythigs fine, but when I again laid siege at that city with their king inside, it again crashed

Try bribing them?

Its impossible to bribe a nations last city. But I dealt with the Greeks, I turned them into my protectorates placed on Crete. BUT it happened AGAIN later in an other campaign, when taking Tarsus, wich was the last city of Pergamon. It seems that it is impossible to exterminate a faction, really annoing so PLZ help i you can.

It can`t be a reinforcement CTD, cus it happens when the city stands alone too
