Dwarven Mines
Hi all, i'm new to this mod, just downloaded 2 days ago. Well, it's simply AWESOME, but i have something to concern about.
Well, where are Dwarven's famous mines?!?
No mines at all in Erebor, nor in the Blue Mountains... my mining income are around zero! I modded the map on my own to place some iron around, and silver and gold in Erebor (as it should be), but i think this should be done in the next release.
We're talking about Dwarves, they ALWAYS build their cities next to some kind of mining resource vein.
It's only after you have lost everything, that you are free to do anything.

Re: Dwarven Mines
Lore wise, there wasn't any gold in the western provinces around Thorin's hall; only Iron, and I thought it already had that resource.
You are crrect. There should be gold around Erebor. I was under the impression you could already uild mining structures arund there though....

Re: Dwarven Mines
Oh yes i may have explained myself bad (english isn't my first language), i've placed gold and silver only in Erebor ;-)
In Erebor, i'm pretty sure i couldn't build mines because there wasn't any mining resource, only wool (WTF? XD ). There were iron mines in Iron Hills (hehe) and IIRC around Kibil Dùm in the Blue Mountains. Still no mines around Thorin's Hall IIRC.

Re: Dwarven Mines
i think there is another sub mod that adds more resources
but you could launch ur own dwarven mines sub mod
adding some resources to dwarves, or around all the map if u feel like it
but keep in mind, that it need to be balanced, u can make erebor with 2k income in vanila to jump to 5k income cuze of resources.. up to you really
i think it would help some people out

Re: Dwarven Mines
Actually, with silver AND gold, Erebor worth about 3k (including taxes and trades). Considering that it has probably the richest mines in middle earth except Moria, i think it's ok. ;-)
