Strategy for Britain vs Human French Frog

heyo, So me and my bro are playing our first MP ETW campaign, as britain and france. Any tips with regards to how I should proceed? I'm aiming for taking over NA, and we've agreed to not attack mainland france/britain.I won't go into too much detail, since he could be reading this, but I currently have designs for canada, and sea supremacy.

Build up a navy, attack his ports in Brest (so he can't build to heavy ships) and particularly his trade port in Marseilles. That will cripple him so bad. I play as France and I have a hard time whenever Marseilles gets blocaked. The blocading of brest is only to make sure he can't build warship to recover his marseille port. It's a deadly lock on his economy.

In America, as France his main city is Quebec, from there he can build nice units. Take this and he will have to rely solely on militia until he can build another fort somewhere. Montreal is next door so if Quebec fall, Montreal will fall too.

Be careful of Boston because it's a quick ride from Montreal.

As the british, you can take over india. France usually don't concentrate much on this continent in the beginning because there's so much to do in America.

Don't let him blockade your ports ot you'll suffer the same fate.

Like I said, we have an understanding about not invading our respective homelands.

Right now, I'm focusing on taking canada and holding my carribean possessions, once/if I succeed in those objectives I'll make peace until the time is right to strike the frog again!

Port blockading is not really region taking imo.
I still think you shoujld spend a little resources embargo him. To you it's just a move to his port. To him it's a major pain in the butt.

Take 13 colonies, cherokee, iruqois and take new france before saying sorry and take the hurons. If his brain is really toad like, attack the rest with half your army and get the others for the hurons. U rule half the NA as a result(well, for me)
